To provide a networking forum to build business relationships in a professional, respectful, ethical, and transparent manner.
Each chapter is to run industry exclusive, only one industry classification per person per chapter. Meetings are held weekly with meeting times and location set by chapter members. PNA chapters are limited to be located within one hour thirty minutes of either Joplin, MO or Springfield, MO.
Membership cost is $100 for one year of membership. Renewal cost is $100 for 1 year. Renewal membership is automatic when payment is received. Applicants are voted in by the members of that chapter, if a tie, the coordinator for the chapter will cast the tie breaking vote. Members may transfer to another chapter if classification is open, must complete application and submit membership cost of $100.Non-Profit organizations can apply for membership into a chapter, only one non-profit is allowed in a chapter, membership cost is waived in year 1, and renewal cost is $50 for 1 year. All other policies apply the same.
At least 50% of membership dues and renewals collected between November 1st and October 31st from each chapter will be donated by that chapter to member voted on charity(ies) by December 31st the same year for each chapter. The remaining 50% or less of membership dues and renewals collected will be managed by Professional Networking Alliance board for the use of providing supplies, advertising support and/or given back to each chapter to decide how to use the funds. Each chapter has the option to do a 50/50 drawing or collect dues for chapter specific expenses (gift bags, provide food etc.). Disbursements from the organization board checking account must be approved by 3 or more board members and signed off by 2 board members.
One person to one industry classification per chapter. Each chapter has discretion on how many industry classifications they want represented (ie splitting insurance or real estate residential and commercial).
Members of Professional Networking Alliance may miss up to 6 meetings in a quarter (Jan 1 – Mar 31, Apr 1 – June – 30, July 1 – Sept 30, Oct 1 – Dec 31). Please communicate with your coordinator of absences. If a member is absent on a week that contains a major holiday, that member would not be considered absent. Major holidays consist of New Years, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. A sub may be used and will not count as an absence if they are not a member of the chapter. If a member has more than 6 absences in a quarter, their industry classification will become available, and they will have to reapply for membership. Members may request a medical leave of absence for up to 12 weeks to hold your category, submit your request to your chapter coordinator. Use this form for Medical Leave of Absence.
Visitors are allowed visit a chapter 2 times per calendar year. A visitor who is serving as a sub is limited to subbing for any member of the chapter to 6 times a year.
Any organizational policy changes can be nominated by the board or by 3 members of Professional Networking Alliance. All organizational policy changes are voted on by Professional Networking Alliance members with approval being 50%+1 of survey respondents to members.
If a member has a dispute with another member, you are instructed to discuss the member first to resolve. If no resolution is made, please communicate with your Coordinator who may then rely on the board for a resolution. If a member’s code of conduct is professionally or ethically brought into question, 3 members from that chapter can submit a request to the coordinator to do a vote for possible removal.
Meetings are conducted by a Chapter Coordinator with the support of at least an Assistant Coordinator and Secretary/Treasurer. Chapter Coordinators are responsible for running their chapters weekly meeting, maintaining record keeping of member dues and applications/renewals, and ensuring Professional Networking Alliance policies are followed with chapter members. Chapter leadership members are not paid from Professional Networking Alliance for their role.

Board members will meet quarterly. Board members are not paid from Professional Networking Alliance for their role. There is a maximum of 5 board members. A board member may be voted in/out by at least 3 board members or a vote of 50%+1 of survey respondents to current members.
